An iPad on a counter is valuable and holds business data. Yet in many shops, receptions and showrooms it simply stands on a loose stand. A security stand is bought once and stays in use when the iPad is replaced.
Which stand for which iPad
The size of the screen decides which stand you need. The standard tablet holder and the 360 rotation mount fit tablets from 7 to 11 inches. The tablet mount XL and the 360 mount XL fit tablets from 12 to 13 inches.
All stands take tablets up to 10 mm thick. The grips are set with 3 mm Allen screws, so the same stand also fits tablets of other brands in the same size range.
What the stand does
- Holds without covering. Screen, camera and buttons stay free.
- Turns with the use. Portrait or landscape, with adjustable viewing angles. The 360 version rotates fully for use at a till.
- Keeps the cable out of reach. The charging cable can run through the pole.
- Works without electronics. No alarms, sensors or batteries.
Mounting
The stand is fixed with security screws, studs and nuts, or with two-component adhesive pads where drilling is not possible. For a stand that has to move, add the freestanding footplate.
