An anti-theft phone holder locks a display phone to the table so customers can try it and nobody can take it. GRiPZO does this mechanically. Hardened steel grips hold the phone, and only a key releases it.
Why cables and alarms fall short
Many stores secure display phones with a cable and an alarm sensor. A thief cuts the cable and runs. The alarm goes off, but the phone is gone before anyone reacts. This is known as cut and run theft.
A mechanical bracket removes that weak spot. There is no cable to cut and no sensor to peel off. To take the phone, a thief would have to break hardened steel that is bolted to the display, in a store full of people.
What customers notice
Customers mostly notice what is missing. No cable pulls at the phone and no sensor covers the back. They can hold the phone at a natural angle, test the camera and feel the size. The bracket has four adjustable viewing angles, so the screen is readable from where the customer stands.
What staff notice
- One bracket for almost every phone. The grips are adjustable, so a new model does not mean a new bracket.
- Fast locking and release. Staff remove a phone with a key in seconds, for example to store it after closing time.
- No false alarms. There are no electronics, batteries or sensors to maintain.
Two options
- Universal security bracket. One size for all current smartphones. Weight 1.1 kg, available in white.
- V3 mount. Works with separate clamp sets for phones, tablets and smartwatches. A two-clamp set holds a foldable phone open on the display.
Both are fixed with security screws, studs and nuts, or two-component adhesive pads.
