Foldable phones are among the most valuable devices on the shop floor, and customers want to open them before they buy. GRiPZO secures foldables on display with mechanical anti-theft holders: no electronics, no alarms, no cables. One solution is available today. New grips and clamps that leave the folding side free are in development.

Available now: lockable foldable phone holders with the GRiPZO V3

The GRiPZO V3 is available immediately with a two-clamp set that secures a foldable phone in a wide, open display position. Customers can pick up and explore the open phone while it stays secured to the display. The phone cannot be folded while fitted in this clamp set.

With the optional lock and release function, authorised staff use a key to remove the phone together with the clamping top section and store it in the back office after closing.

In development: mechanical security mounts for foldable phones

Coming soon for the V1. GRiPZO is developing new grips for its V1 anti-theft bracket with foldable phones in mind. Authorised staff unlock the V1 with a mechanical key and release the phone in seconds. The customer can hold it, unfold it and experience it. After the demonstration the phone goes back in the bracket and is locked again.

Coming soon for the V3. New V3 clamps will secure one side of the device and leave the other side free to fold, so customers can try the folding mechanism while the phone stays in the holder. An existing V3 holder can be upgraded once the new clamps are ready.

Can customers fold the phone while it is secured?

Not with the V3 two-clamp set that is available today. That set displays the phone open. New V3 clamps that leave one side free to fold are in development. With the V1, staff release the phone with a key for a hands-on demonstration.

Which foldable phones fit?

The V3 two-clamp set is an option for foldable phones such as the Apple iPhone Duo and models in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, Google Pixel Pro Fold, HONOR Magic V, HUAWEI Mate X and OPPO Find N series. GRiPZO checks the dimensions of each device before confirming a configuration.

When will the new foldable grips be available?

Do the holders need power or an alarm system?

No. All GRiPZO holders work mechanically, without batteries, cables or alarms.
